Heritage Academy put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Imagine Prep Storm. That's more bragging rights for the Heroes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Tatum Meeker made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Elsie Earll was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Emily Person was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base.
