The Proctor Rails will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marshall Hilltoppers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Proctor is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Proctor lost to Cromwell at home by a decisive 71-53 margin.
Meanwhile, Marshall pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pillager. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Marshall in their matchups with Pillager: they've now lost three in a row.
Proctor's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Marshall, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Proctor strolled past Marshall when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 65-47. Will Proctor repeat their success, or does Marshall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
