Everything went the Eagles' way against Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Orange: they've now won six in a row.

Zeke McLennan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Jack Demers and Aiden Howell did most of the damage at the plate: Demers went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Howell went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Chazy is 4-1 when Howell posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Landon Duprey was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Chazy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.8.
Meanwhile, Johnsburg Central never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central as they made off with a 17-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly 17 runs.
Like Chazy, Johnsburg Central also got a great game from a two-way player: Nicholas Sauer-Jones. On the mound, Sauer-Jones pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Peyton Lawrence tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sauer-Jones has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Sauer-Jones went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Lawrence went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

The win got Chazy back to even at 6-6. As for Johnsburg Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
