The Brown County Eagles's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past Edinburgh with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brown County also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2014.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bella Turner, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Dodson, who scored five points along with two steals.
Brown County's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Edinburgh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Brown County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Trinity Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Trinity Lutheran is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Edinburgh, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Morristown at 12:30 p.m. Hopefully Morristown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Tuesday.
