They strolled past Goodwin Tech with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. That's another feather in the cap for Academy of Science and Innovation, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Academy of Science and Innovation was led to victory by Lebron White and Amari Cruz. White scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Cruz dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Warlin Franco, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Academy of Science and Innovation's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Goodwin Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Academy of Science and Innovation will be home for the holidays to greet Metropolitan Learning Center at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Goodwin Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Norwich RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
