Softball Recap: Jenkins Has No Trouble Against Buckhorn

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Letcher County Central, Jenkins was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Buckhorn Wildcats 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jenkins' victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Buckhorn, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Jenkins will square off against Phelps at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckhorn, they will face off against Owsley County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Owls / Lady Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls / Lady Owls are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
