Pingree came out on top against Marianapolis Prep on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Highlanders put the hurt on the Golden Knights with a sharp 9-2 win. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Pingree is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Marianapolis Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
