Leipsic won against Arcadia last Wednesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Jefferson Wildcats. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Mill Paniagua was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season. Myles Camareno was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Leipsic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win (which was Leipsic's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leipsic will face off against Edgerton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Jefferson, they will take on Spencerville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
