The Discovery Titans won against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights last Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Discovery never let Central Gwinnett onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Even though Discovery was hit with a red card (from Marlon Benitez-Salamanca), the team's aggressive strategy still got them the 'W'.
London-Sebastian Hedge was the driving force of Discovery's attack as he scored both of Discovery's goals. With that big game, he's now up to three goals this season.
The victory made it two in a row for Discovery and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Central Gwinnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Discovery has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome South Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Central Gwinnett will take on Grayson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
