Tigerton has gone 8-2 against Marion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Tigerton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Tigerton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past White Lake 20-2 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Danika Tiller made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Jaelyn Brady was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Hailey Erdmann was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Tigerton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Marion couldn't beat Gillett on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Mustangs lost 16-6 to the Tigers.
Marion saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee Miller, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Marion's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3-1. As for Tigerton, their record is now 6-2.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Tigerton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. However, it's not like Marion struggles in that department as they've averaged .439. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tigerton skirted past Marion 9-8 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
