Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Hatboro-Horsham

Hatboro-Horsham put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic as the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters made off with a 12-3 victory.

Kennedy Conn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Conn was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Hatboro-Horsham let Maya Ravi and Madison Karpovich run wild. Ravi scored four runs while going 4-for-5, while Karpovich went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The dominant performance gave Ravi a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Cara Neeld, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Hatboro-Horsham's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Hatboro-Horsham will face off against Abington at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Abington their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will challenge Merion Mercy Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. This will also be Mt. St. Joseph Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
