Everything went their way against Brookfield Central as Germantown made off with a 69-44 victory. Winning may never get old, but Germantown sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Germantown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucy Leininger led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. Leininger is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madeline Jakusz, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

As for Brookfield Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-19.
Germantown and Kettle Moraine Lutheran will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kettle Moraine Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 contests -- so hopefully Germantown likes a good challenge. As for Brookfield Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookfield Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Menomonee Falls is ranked 60th).
