Jonesboro barely beat Greene County Tech the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hurricane put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.

While Jonesboro might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Greene County Tech scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Jonesboro was led to victory by Olivia Than and Emilee Than. Olivia had five digs and two aces, while Emilee had three digs and one assist. That's the most aces Olivia has posted since back in September.

Jonesboro pushed their record up to 16-10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Greene County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jonesboro will face off against Bentonville West on Monday. As for Greene County Tech, they will host Mount St. Mary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
