Garrett Owens turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because North Fremont is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 2-3 otherwise.

North Fremont's road trip will continue as they head out to face Soda Springs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals thanks in part to Owens: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
