The Sumiton Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dora. Sumiton Christian has not had much luck with Dora recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Dora found their leader in underclassman Maddix Harrison, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Williams, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Sumiton Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Dora, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumiton Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Meek at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Dora, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m.
