It was a good run, but the Denton Broncos unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Grapevine by a score of 2-1. Denton has not had much luck with Grapevine recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Denton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Grapevine, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denton will challenge Lake Dallas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Dallas' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grapevine, they will head out on the road to challenge Argyle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Argyle is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats at home, meaning Grapevine will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
