After a string of five wins, Wadley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodland Bobcats. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 6-5.
Demon Spraddling made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
Wadley's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Woodland, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-11.
