Bonner Springs' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Bonner Springs' victory bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Schlagle, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonner Springs will challenge Atchison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atchison knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Bonner Springs likes a good challenge. As for Schlagle, they will head out on the road to face off against Chanute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chanute will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
