 Despite the  loss, Eaglecrest saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Natalia Jarzebczyk  had 18 assists and five  digs. Those 18  assists set a new season-high mark for  Jarzebczyk.
 Legacy was led to victory by  Claire Tsai and  Reagan Bayley.  Tsai  had 12  digs, while  Bayley  had 17  kills, 12  digs, four  blocks,  and three  aces. That's the most  kills  Bayley has posted since back in October of 2024.
Eaglecrest now  has a losing record of 2-3. As for Legacy,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-3.
 Eaglecrest and Legacy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Raptors will  square off against  rival Smoky Hill  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Legacy is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Fairview  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
