The Hancock Panthers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They escaped with a win against Faith Christian Academy by the margin of a single free throw, 59-58. The victory was just what Hancock needed coming off of a 70-43 defeat in their prior contest.
Hancock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden McCarty out in front who scored 17 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Anderson, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Faith Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Hancock will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
