When it comes to explaining why Academy Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joel Beard. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jovani Dorismond , who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Academy Charter bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Seaford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
