Wells had won two straight games and Johnny Glascock did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Leopards simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eureka Vandals 36-0 with plenty of help from Glascock, who rushed for 148 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The win got Wells back to even at 3-3. As for Eureka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wells is set to face off against their familiar foe Carlin at 7:00 p.m. on October 9. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Leopards 14.7, the Railroaders 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Eureka will take on rival Owyhee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
