Chaparral won against Ellison  last Friday with 14  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by  a  14-2 margin over the Waco Lions. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by 11  runs or more this season.
 Madison Edwards was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. Edwards was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-5. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news,  Kendal Macklin was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in February.  Aireanna Jones also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Chaparral  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waco only managed six  hits.
The  win made it two in a row for Chaparral and  bumps their season record up to 10-10. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Waco, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record  this season.
 Chaparral will challenge Belton at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Waco, they will take on Lake Belton at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their  17th straight  win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
