North Bay Haven Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Walton get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won 15 games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Addison Mallon and Ally Brady made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Mallon kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Brady tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate, Mallon went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Brady got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaylee Goodpaster, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. McKenzie Goff was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Bozeman got the win against Freeport on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-0. The Bucks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
The result came thanks to Avery Obert's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Bozeman got a big performance out of Presley Thomason, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Morris, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
North Bay Haven Academy's record is now 20-3. As for Bozeman, their record now sits at 13-9.

It's a different story for Bozeman, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 strikeouts.
