If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Scarborough. On Friday they take on Deering at 7:00 PM. Scarborough will be looking to build upon the 43-0 win they picked up against Deering the last time they played.
Scarborough had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They made easy work of Sanford and carried off a 41-13 win.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Deering lost to Thornton Academy, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-70. Deering were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-49.
Scarborough's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Deering's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Scarborough can add another positive mark to their record or if Deering can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Scarborough's step.
