Iola has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Bremond Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Iola lost to Chilton on the road by a decisive 38-22 margin.
Meanwhile, Bremond can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Bartlett 67-20 at home. The win was nothing new for Bremond as they're now sitting on three straight.
Koben Zan got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Clark, who gained 80 total yards and two touchdowns.
Iola's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bremond, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Iola was dealt a bruising 54-6 loss at the hands of Bremond when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Will Iola have more luck at home instead of on the road?
