Central suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Leesburg, falling 70-4. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Central has scored all season.
Springstead is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Central, they bumped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Springstead against Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 65-13 victory. With Springstead ahead 39-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
