There's no place like home for Middle College, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Animo Watts Warriors with a sharp 27-17 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Middle College has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for Animo Watts, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middle College is set to square off against their familiar foe Animo Robinson at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Animo Watts will challenge rival Animo South Los Angeles at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
