The Imhotep Charter Panthers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Martin Luther King 60-18 on the road. Considering Imhotep Charter has won eight contests by more than 34 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Jabree Wallace- Coleman went supernova for Imhotep Charter, rushing for 243 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 33 receiving yards. Wallace- Coleman is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Syeer Coleman was another key contributor, rushing for 50 yards and two touchdowns.
Imhotep Charter's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Martin Luther King, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Imhotep Charter will square off against Roman Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roman Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Martin Luther King will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Olney at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. Olney comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
