The Wayne Pioneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Lincoln County as Wayne made off with a 81-58 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Wayne has posted yet this season.
Zane Adkins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isaac Meddings, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Wayne and bumps their season record up to 4-8. As for Lincoln County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Logan at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lincoln County will take on Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sissonville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln County in West Virginia (Sissonville is ranked 35th, while Lincoln County is ranked 107th).
