Tiverton scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 55-48 to the South Kingstown Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 53-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Despite the loss, Tiverton still got an impressive performance from Caleb Purcell, who posted 19 points. Brendan King was another key player, putting up ten points.

Griffin Sward was the offensive standout of the contest as he put up 15 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jonah Monnes, who had 11 points and three steals.

Tiverton dropped their record down to 0-3-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for South Kingstown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Tiverton will welcome Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Kingstown, they will head out on the road to challenge Juanita Sanchez Complex at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
