Intermountain Christian has not had much luck with American Prep WV recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Intermountain Christian still got an impressive performance from Keaton Okino, who scored 14 points.
American Prep WV's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Komy Ocwor, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a triple-double on 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Ocwor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Peter Hakim, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 11 assists, and nine steals.
Intermountain Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for American Prep WV, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Intermountain Christian will face off against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Intermountain Christian is coming into the game with three straight losses on the road, meaning Utah Military Academy - Hill Field will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for American Prep WV, they will take on Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
