This season hasn't been kind to the Cummings Cavaliers, who are still winless after their 13th contest. They fell 44-36 to North Moore on Wednesday. Cummings was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Moore apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Calissa Clendenin, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hannah Hunt, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Cummings dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for North Moore, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Cummings will head out on the road to challenge Seaforth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Moore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
