The West Hardin Oilers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Laneville with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 53-38.
Despite the loss, Laneville still got an impressive performance from Jordan Ross, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Ross' fourth in a row with at least ten points. De'Marea Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
West Hardin's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Laneville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
West Hardin will be playing in front of their home fans against Harmony Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Laneville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against West Sabine at 2:15 p.m. on December 1st.
