If The Cedar Shoals Jaguars were feeling good off their 45-21 takedown of the Chestatee War Eagles last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cedar Shoals took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Hall on Thursday. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Cedar Shoals was blown out by North Hall in the second.
Defeat or not, Cedar Shoals got some senior leadership from Anthony Hubbard who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries and Kayden Scott who gained 86 total yards and a touchdown.
North Hall found their leader in underclassman Parker Carlton, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown. North Hall also got a significant boost from Tanner Marsh, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Hall, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Cedar Shoals does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Hall will be playing at home against East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. East Forsyth is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
