 Having struggled with three  losses in a row, Enochs finally turned things around against Modesto  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with  a  3-0 win.
 The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19,  25-13.
 Meanwhile, Downey didn't have quite enough to beat Pitman on Thursday and fell  3-2. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pride: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Downey wouldn't go down easily and took Pitman into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-15, 19-25,  15-11.
 Enochs' victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Downey, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 23-12.
 Enochs came up short against Downey in their previous meeting  back in September, falling  3-1. Can Enochs avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
