Sedgwick's standout player in the win was Ware. The sophomore wide receiver threw one touchdown, ran for two touchdowns and kicked one extra point.
Kaleb Whitehair made a difference for Ell-Saline. The senior wide receiver caught one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to six on the year.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 27-0 win for SHS.
With the win the Cardinals extended their winning streak to three games. The loss snapped ES's 2-game winning streak.
