With a playoff win on the line, Cincinnati Christian rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Ansonia Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Maddy Jones paced Cincinnati Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jones got some help from  Anna Bowling and her 41 assists. Finally,  Elom Bobie-Frimpong kept Cincinnati Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Cincinnati Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Ansonia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 14-11.
 Coming up, Cincinnati Christian will face off against St. Henry at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Ansonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
