The biggest upset of the week belonged to Theodore, who took down 61st ranked Baker, 20-19.
The Bobcats scaled the state rankings by moving to 73 from 120 this week, the biggest jump in 6A Region 1. Theodore was able to move up by besting the Hornets 20-19.
Harry Satterwhite and Ito Smith gave McGill-Toolen a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Satterwhite threw for 192 yards and 5 touchdowns, while Smith ran for 121 yards. Lorenzo Martin also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.
Satterwhite and Smith gave the Yellowjackets a balanced attack through the air and ground last week.
Smith was the most successful running back in the league this week.
Kameron Maye was the best wideout in the league this week as Murphy beat Blount. Maye racked up 6 receptions for 134 yards. Michael Hudson helped Murphy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 69 yards.
He went 17-28 with 0 interception.
Satterwhite put up the best numbers through the air as McGill-Toolen bested Davidson. Satterwhite's favorite target this week was Chris Knowles, who caught 7 passes for 74 yards.
Charlie Seiter made the biggest impact on defense this week as Bart Sessions' team topped the Warriors. The 6-foot-1 defensive back.
DePriest Turner was a passing and rushing force as the Panthers beat the Leopards. He completed 12 passes for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 91 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Satterwhite of the Yellowjackets is the league leader in passing yards this season with 791. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Maye. The Murphy star has 17 catches for 314 yards.
Murphy extended the longest winning streak in 6A Region 1 this week by beating Blount, 35-34. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
