Solebury scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Mastery, posting a 87-37 win on the road. Solebury has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.
Solebury's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Makhai Anderson led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Simpson, who scored 18 points.
The City School suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Life Center Academy, falling 72-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points The City School has scored all season.
The win got Solebury back to even at 8-8. As for The City School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Solebury against The City School when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 85-50 victory. With Solebury ahead 50-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
