The Thomasville Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Lexington Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomasville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Thomasville suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 last Friday. They took a serious blow against South Davidson, falling 52-21. Thomasville has not had much luck with South Davidson recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, Lexington came up short against Southeast Guilford on Monday and fell 53-40. Lexington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Thomasville bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lexington, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Thomasville took a serious blow against Lexington in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 60-30. Thankfully for Thomasville, Jadyiah Peoples (who scored 29 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
