Warsaw has gone 9-1 against Concord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Minutemen at 6:00 p.m. Warsaw is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Warsaw came out on top against Peru by a score of 12-7. That's two games straight that Warsaw has won by exactly five runs.
Brock Bowser looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hunter Dippon was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rogan Bailey, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Warsaw always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peru only posted an OBP of .353.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Concord was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of Jimtown by a score of 2-1.
Concord saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was Flores' first of the season.
Warsaw pushed their record up to 20-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Warsaw has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Concord struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Warsaw's way against Concord in their previous meeting last Monday, as Warsaw made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
