It was a good run, but the Carroll Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 62-37 walloping at the hands of Enterprise. Carroll lost against Enterprise in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-50 score last time.
Despite the defeat, Carroll saw an underclassman step up: N'jia Gosha scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devon Pruitt, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Enterprise, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll is on the road again on Monday and play against Ashford at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Ashford will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Enterprise, they will head out on the road to face off against Carver Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Carver Montgomery is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
