The Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 42-19 margin over Highland View Academy. That looming 42-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mountain View Christian Academy yet this season.
Mountain View Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Zoe Harbin, who scored 14 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harbin has scored all season. Eryn Demko was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Mountain View Christian Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-3. As for Highland View Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Randolph-Macon Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Randolph-Macon Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Highland View Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th.
