Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 Summit Christian Academy took Nevada into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 19-25, 22-25,  15-4.
 Charlee Pollard paced Summit Christian Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pollard got some help from  Rilyn Richards-Hamburg and her 38 assists. Finally,  Pollard was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16-2. As for Nevada, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6-2 record  this season.
