Lauren White, a senior middle blocker for Unioto High School in Chillicothe, Ohio, has been named the MaxPreps/AVCA Ohio High School volleyball Player of the Week. She earned the award after playing an integral part in the Sherman Tanks' 24-3 record to date, including wins in 12 of their last 13 contests.
Through five games last week, White swatted 15 kills, for an average of 3.0 kills per game. She also added three blocks, one service ace and two assists, as well as 20 digs (4.0 dpg) as a part of Unioto's front line offensive arsenal.
Unioto is coached by Aaron Ridenour.
