2A Conference 3 recap September 10, 2013
Bunker Hill moved up to 200 from 244 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Conference 3. The Bears were able to make move up by beating Foard 34-0.
West Caldwell fell to Hibriten 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bandys's dynamic duo of Logan Beegle and Jeremy Carr proved tough for Chase to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Beegle threw for 95 yards and Carr had 65 yards receiving.
The Trojans' dynamic duo of Beegle and Carr proved to be unstoppable against the Trojans, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Carr was the best receiver in the league this week as Bandys fell to Chase.
Chaz Surratt was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 60 yards as East Lincoln fell to the Trojans.
Beegle put up the best numbers through the air as the Trojans lost to Chase.
Maiden's Jake McRee and Alex White have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 2A Conference 3 in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback McRee has thrown for 547 yards this season, while White has 10 catches for 197 yards. Logan Hughes from Bandys leads the league in rushing with 217 yards.
West Lincoln led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Cherryville.
