Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Estero Wildcats, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Estero has lost by exactly one goal.
Estero now has a losing record at 8-9-1. As for Aubrey Rogers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-3 record this season.
Estero does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aubrey Rogers, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Aubrey Rogers' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
