Dunbar lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zaria Ballard, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks. Sa'rai Ridley was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds.
Franklin Monroe's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Dunbar, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11.
Franklin Monroe will look to defend their home court on Monday against Catholic Central at 6:00 p.m. Dunbar will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Meadowdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Saturday.
