The 2023 high school football season kicks off in two months and we start our preseason coverage by looking at the best player in every state. On June 26, we will release our 2023 Preseason MaxPreps Top 25 as we follow the season to its conclusion in December.
Dylan Raiola of
Pinnacle (Phoenix), the top-rated player on every recruiting site for the Class of 2024, is among a handful of elite players headlining our look at each state's top standout. He spent his sophomore season at
Burleson (Texas) and threw for 3,341 yards and 32 touchdowns. Last year, he threw for 2,435 yards and 22 TDs at
Chandler (Ariz.).
The top-rated player in the Class of 2025 is also featured as
David Sanders Jr. is the choice from North Carolina. The five-star offensive tackle from
Providence Day (Charlotte) led the Chargers to a NCISAA Division 1 state title in 2022.
Forty-five of these selections will be seniors next fall while the remaining six are rising juniors.
